Day 2 - Animal Kingdom

That's Mt. Everest the great roller coaster ride in the far distance. It is an awesome roller coaster and makes you laugh so much!
This is the "vine lady." She is camouflaged up so good to look like a part of the tree. She was on stilts and moving so slowly. We loved watching her!

Isn't he sweet? He actually wasn't asleep.(If you click on the picture of him, you can see his face so much better when it is enlarged.) He has his "gorilla hands" laying under his head just like we would do. We loved watching him too and the other gorillas eating.

We had a great time at Animal Kingdom! It has become my favorite Disney park to visit. I will post more pics when I return from church tonight! Come back and visit again!

If you look real close in the picture above, you can see the fairy godmother. That's who I want to be when I retire and move to Florida! LOL! Everyone loves you, wants your picture made with them and wants your autograph!! NO STRESS JOB!! Perfect for me!

Day 1 - Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone! Well I am just making myself sit down and put some of these pictures at Disney on for you. I am not going to edit any or make comments under each of them for now and just get them on for you to see because it is 10:15 right now and soon time for bed!

Lauren's boyfriend, Scott as you know made the trip with us this time. This was is 1ST trip to Disney World!! We were so excited because we would get to go through it all again through another person's excitment about being there! I have been there "several" times to nationals and I could probably be a pretty good tour guide if you need one to tag along with you.

Anyway, there a lots of pictures with Lauren and Scott because the dance team did not get to hang out with us too much while we were there. I have saved a few pictures of Leah's to put on here from her camera that she made so that I would have a least a few of her as well.

Our trip begins.....

When we arrived in Florida on Thursday morning we boarded the Disney World resorts transportation bus the "Magical Express". If you are planning a trip to Disney World in the near future, I would highly recommend that you stay on the Disney World grounds at one of their hotels. Each hotel has transportation to and from the hotel to the parks/downtown Disney/blizzard beach and more. It is so convenient and easy to do. The magical express is also a courtesy to you if you are traveling by air and they will take you right to your hotel and they even take your luggage to your room for you!! How nice is that???
Something else I found out that I did not know --- when it is time to leave and go back home if you are flying (depends on what airlines you use) you can check in on your airline and also check in your luggage at the Disney hotel and not have to worry about your luggage until you get home. Whow!! That's is so nice and hassle free!

Don't you like our T-shirts?? All of the parents and other family members were wearing our new nationals t-shirts that we had made to support the girls!! Scott had to have one too along with all the males in our group! Who said that males didn't look good in pink???
